Youth
Jobs Statewide has an excellent track record in placing young people aged 17-24 in employment or formal education and training. We do this by accurately identifying and addressing the issues keeping young people out of the workforce, and then working with its network of service providers and employers to place young people.
Young job-seekers can take part in "work experience” programs that provide high levels of mentoring and supervision while they develop their skills, or be placed in other training programs that boost their employability.
They receive flexible and individual case management by youth consultants who provide career and financial counselling, advice on literacy and numeracy programs and support for people who want to take on traineeships or apprenticeships.
