Jobs Statewide has its roots in a community youth support scheme that opened in 1980 and played an important role in supporting the socially disadvantaged.

This philosophy remains paramount to Jobs Statewide. From its inception as a not-for-profit, community-based organisation to its current status as one of Australia’s leading Jobs Services Australia providers, it has continued to focus on giving targeted assistance to unemployed and disadvantaged job seekers.

Jobs Statewide CEO Wendy-Jayne Williams has been with the company since 1988 and remains passionate about expanding the business so it can continue to support job-seekers.

Jobs Statewide is a multi-award winning service provider and was the highest-performing Job Network provider in Australia from 2006 to 2008.
